Charlotte is off the feeding tube. For real!
She threw it up Tuesday morning, and we decided to let her go for a day or two to see how she did. She lost a little weight the first two days, but it was 12 grams and then 4 grams (in the past she has lost 50+ grams) so we kept going. She was also doing better with the bottle than she had been doing before.
Well, yesterday morning she was up 4 grams, and this morning she was up 44 grams! She is a mere ounce away from hitting the 10 pound mark.
She has definitely been more content and happy off the tube, and needless to say, it makes our lives a little easier.
Thank you all for continuing to pray for Baby Girl (or "BG" as we sometimes call her). God has been and continues to be so good to us.

Yay! I'm sure she will continue to do better and better and she is going to be so happy! She looks beautiful and I know how happy you are to get over that hurdle. God is good. Today is Maggie's one year anniversary since her Glenn. Of course she had to split her lip open this morning. I guess we needed a little drama. :-)
What a "BEAUTIFUL" great-grandaughter we have!!!! So good to see that smile as though she is looking at us. Praying she'll not have to go back on the tube.

What GREAT news- she is simply beautiful!
umm... i am not sure where all of theese crazy comments about my nieces looks are comming from... Maybe to the common untrained eye they could be correct but if the trained sissy eye is looking correctly i would have to say... She favors Mr Magoo as so did her aunt sissy when she was a tiny tot. I am looking foward to pictures with her in the fridge and in a high chair with a chocolate cake batter bowl on her head thanks of course to her big brother... Thats all the trained eye has for now.
