About Sam & Charlotte
In October of 2005 we welcomed Sam, aka "Peanut," into the world. He has been the delight of our lives, bringing us laughter every day, and making us do crazy things like cry when we hear the Hawaiian version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Sam serves as the Big Brother and primary narrator of this blog. (For a real laugh, be sure to check out his State of the Nursery addresses!)
In July of 2008, Sam's little sister joined him and us in rounding out our little family. Charlotte, aka "Moonpie," brought us two surprises at her 20 week ultrasound - the first being that she was a girl, and the second that she would be taking us on a very new and unexpected journey. Charlotte was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome which required her to have one of three open-heart surgeries at three days old.
Charlotte, much like her brother, has already shown a stubborn streak. She is our little fighter.
Mama Jenn and Daddy Tim will take care of all the medical stuff here. Sam and Charlotte will be sure to keep you up-to-date on all the fun goings-on at the Tousey House.

Hey Sam,
You are really BIG STUFF!! Nothing is slowing you down, that was a big job pulling yourself up to the sofa arm and standing alone! I see you are still tearing down your Daddy's constructions; I bet nobody can tear down your,s when you start building.Can hardly wait to see you again.

Hi Sammer,
I'm sitting here with Great Nana Harris looking at how big a boy your becoming! Your growing in leaps and bounds now doing lots of new things and making lots of new discoveries everyday. Sure wish we could meet you in person.
Hopefully soon we'll have a chance to be together.

I love the new videos - your Mamma is a pretty smart lady! Looks like Daddy likes your blocks almost as much as you do. When you are a little bit bigger you will have to ask Daddy to bring out his legos, oh wait a minute they're here in Florida! Guess he'll have to bring you our way to get into that box. We love you and Pops and I have been birthday shopping for somebody who is going to be 1 year old real soon - can't wait to see you!
