Prayers

Please pray for our friend Emma Kate. She had to go back into the hospital today and she has some fluid around her lungs.

Also, we have some new heart friends here in town who just had twins, Sarah and Jack. Little Jack also has HLHS, and he is having a tough time right now. Please visit their Carepages site and keep them in your prayers.

Charlotte and I will be heading to Duke in the morning for some pre-cath lab work, and then we'll get the schedule for Thursday.

Hi y'all!

I just wanted to ask that you keep praying for little Emma Kate. Heart-wise, she is doing fine. Her surgery went as planned and her heart is good. But she is having a time with reflux. So much so that she is still in the hospital in Atlanta with her Daddy. Her Mama went back home to take care of big sis Anna Brooke.

Emma Kate had an upper GI test today so that the doctors will know how best to treat her. Please pray that they can get this straight soon so that she can go home and feel better.

Over the past few months, I have become friends via email with another heart mama, Bethany. Her daughter is Emma Kate, who is a little younger than Charlotte. Emma Kate is in Atlanta right now with her mama and daddy, and she will be having her Glenn surgery on Wednesday.

Please be praying for them this week, and especially on Wednesday. I'll let you know when I know more, and you can keep up with them on their blog.
