Update from Duke

Charlotte did great today with the heart cath. Everything looked great and she is ready for her next surgery. We were all set to head home after two hours in recovery, but Baby Girl had other plans. Her sats have been all over the place today, and unfortunately they settled in the low 60s for a while. So it looks like we will be staying overnight just to get her all straightened out.

Right now we are still in recovery, waiting on our room to be ready. They put her on oxygen and her sats have been in the low 70s for about an hour, which is GREAT. So we're not worried, and we trust the decision of the doctor to keep her here a little longer.

Please keep praying that Charlotte's oxygen sats will stay in the good numbers once they take her off the oxygen.

I'll let you know when we are heading home. And thanks so much for your prayers covering today - she really did great. Well, God did great.

I'm glad to hear the cath went well and that Charlotte will be able to have her next surgery. Ethan had to spend the night after his cath too so it doesn't surprise me that her docs kept her as well. Praying for a quick discharge and peace for your family as you await the next surgery.

Heart Hugs,

Julie Miles
